Dear Friend of Millennium High School:

On behalf of the Millennium High School Parents Association, we are writing to request a donation for our silent auction which will be held online from May 1-15.

MHS has grades 9-12, with 700 students enrolled and a senior class of 145. During the past three academic years, half or more students self-identified as first-generation Americans and/or low-income. Many do not speak English at home.  

MHS is regularly featured in U.S. News & World Report’s top high schools (#301 in National Rankings, #36 in New York State High Schools, and #21 in New York City Public Schools High Schools for this school year). This is partially due to the efforts of our college counselors.

Our college counselors help each of our students navigate the application process and support families so they can learn how to finance their child’s college education. In the past three years, 100% of Millennium seniors who applied to college were accepted!

The funds raised in the silent auction will complement the Direct Drive fundraiser, and among other uses, will contribute to paying for one of our two college counselors for the upcoming school year. In fact, nearly 70% of the target budget is allocated to Millennium’s College Office.

Please help us by making a tax-deductible donation. No contribution is too big or too small – everything is deeply appreciated! Without supporters like you, our students might have to go without this invaluable assistance.
